A bit about me

As you have probably seen already in my social media profile, I am a coffee enthusiast, mama bear, and hopeless romantic. And it is true! I love to read romantic stories especially period pieces. Probably my love for history brings me to those sort of books! Jane Austin is one of my favorite authors, but I am always up to hear new suggestions, so please send them my way! Let's talk a bit about where I am from. I was born in Maryland, but grew up here in Pueblo, Colorado. If you are from here, I know your next question and the answer is I graduated from Centennial High School (Go Bulldogs!). My first career was nursing and I graduated with my RN degree and proceeded to work in this field for almost 10 years! So how did I get into photography? Nature has always been a love of mine, and I very much enjoy the beauty that is Colorado. My husband bought me my first real Nikon camera dslr for Christmas one year to capture my favorite scenic spots and hopefully our childrens lives in the future. As years passed and I dabbled a bit in portrait photography, I became pregnant and had our daughter. And like A LOT of photographer stories, I fell in love with capturing out daughters childhood and become a photographer! Over the last few years I have found my niche in family, maternity, couples, milestones and seniors. I truly get so much joy out of capturing your memories that can be enjoyed for years and years to come! My style of editing and capturing your images has been a long process of finding just how I want my art to be conveyed. I love capturing your story in beautiful locations, with gorgeous light, and adding my special sauce of buttery rich editing! Trust me, this has taken many many hours of honing in on my craft, creating my brand and giving you something unique! The biggest compliment someone can give is every year asking me to capture their special moments once again!
